Meryl Frank

Meryl Frank is an American politician and diplomat.^{[1][2][3][4][5]}

Biography

Frank helped author status of women legislation for President William Clinton and New Jersey Governor Thomas Kean, in 1993 and 1989. She was the Mayor of Highland Park, New Jersey from 2000 to 2010.

In 2009 President Barack Obama appointed Frank to represent the USA to the Fifth World Conference on Women. In 2010 Obama appointed her Ambassador to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women.

In 2015, Variety reported that Frank had been named the executive director of the humanitarian organization FilmAid International.^[6]
