Merete Lien
Merete Lien (born April 20, 1952 in Bergen, Norway) is a Norwegian historical romance novelist. Her most known books are part of the Barn av stormen ("Child of the Storm") series, set in the late eighteenth century on the small Norwegian island of Jomfruland. There are currently 27 books in this series. She has also written a newer series called Rosehagen ("The rose bower"). Her work outside of series is:
- Bak mørket ("After the Dark")
- Vinterlys ("The Winter Lily")
- Kongens bror ("The King's Brother")
