Mercy Hospital St. Louis is a hospital operating in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Mercy Hospital was founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1871 as a 25 bed hospital in a school building.[1] In 1963, the current location of mercy hospital was founded in Creve Coeur, Missouri. Since moving to Creve Coeur, the hospital has expanded, treating patients in the St. Louis region and other parts of Missouri. Mercy Hospital is currently a level III neonatal intensive care unit as well as the only Level I trauma center in St. Louis County, Missouri. Since 2003, Mercy has expanded to include the David C Pratt Cancer Center, Heart and Vascular Hospital and a low risk Birthing Center. [2]
