Melitopol Raion (Ukrainian: Мелітопольський район) is one of the 20 raions (districts) of Zaporizhia Oblast in southern Ukraine. The administrative center of the region is Melitopol, which does not belong to the district and is incorporated separately as a city of oblast significance. Population: 50,188 (2013 est.)[1].
