Megaton Rainfall is an upcoming action video game in development by Pentadimensional Games for PlayStation 4 and Microsoft Windows.

Plot

The plot revolves around an interdimensional superhero tasked to save the world from an alien invasion.[1]

Gameplay

Megaton Rainfall is an action game set in an open world environment and played from a first person perspective. The game's protagonist can not die, but cities can; players must protect cities from the hordes of aliens while avoiding collateral damage. Players has the ability to fly at supersonic speed even outside the atmosphere. It can also be played using PlayStation VR. Players can use several attacks to destroy environments such as surrounding buildings. The enemies will have their weak spots marked by red lights.[2] Players will be able to fly around other planets as well to find cities and missions.[1] The player will have the ability to go to mach 10 in 5 seconds.[3] The game features fully destructible environments, buildings are procedurally generated and destructible .[4]

Development

The game was featured at the 2015 Independent Game Festival in California.[3] The game has been in development by one man for over three years.[5] The game will likely be self-published.[6]
