Megan Elizabeth McKenna is an English reality television personality from Essex who rose to fame in 2015 for appearing in the MTV reality series Ex on the Beach. She went on to become a housemate in the seventeenth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016. On 13 March 2016, McKenna made her first appearance on the reality television series The Only Way Is Essex.

Career

She first became known for reaching the semi-finals of third series of Britain's Got Talent in 2009 as part of the music duo Harmony,[1] then becoming a cast member on the third series of Ex on the Beach in 2015. She then went on to become a housemate in the seventeenth series of Celebrity Big Brother in 2016.[2][3] During her time in the house she received a formal warning for using aggressive and threatening behaviour towards her fellow housemates.[4][5] On 22 January 2016, she became the fourth housemate to be evicted having received the least amount of votes to save, spending a total of 18 days in the house.

She has also appeared in The Only Way Is Essex in 2010 where she auditioned to be part of the girl-group LOLA, and auditioned for The X Factor as a country singer.[6] On 13 March 2016, she joined The Only Way Is Essex full-time.[7]

In May 2017, Megan launched her own restaurant "MCK Grill" in Woodford Green.[8] She will star in her own show on ITVBe, There’s Something About Megan, which sees her flying to Nashville to attempt a country music career.[9]
