Mdu Masilela
M'du Masilela (also spelled Mdu; born Mduduzi Masilela in 1970) is a South African kwaito musician.
Born in Zola, Soweto, Masilela was in the 1990s a pioneer of the kwaito music scene along with the likes of Mandoza‚ Boom Shaka‚ Trompies‚ Brown Dash and Spikiri.[1]
He was presented with a Lifetime Achievement award at the 2015 South Africa Music Awards.[2]
