The Mayor of the Barisal City is head of the Barisal City Corporation. The Mayor's office administers all city services, public property, most public agencies, and enforces all city and state laws within Barisal City.

The Mayor's office is located in Nagar Bhabon; it has jurisdiction over all thirty wards of Barisal City

Current mayor

The current mayor is Ahsan Habib Kamal, elected as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate in 2013 with 64% of the vote.
