massstar (Hangul: 맛스타) is a South Korean webtoon artist. Her notable work is unTOUCHable.

Career

She developed a love of drawing when she was young. She has always wanted to be a comics artist since she was in primary school. However, most Koreans think that comic artists are unable to feed themselves, which made her hesitate for a period of time. When she was in university, she thought that she should try something she liked to do as she only lived once. Therefore, she participated in a comic competition held by NAVER, which gave her the chance to debut.[1]

February 2014 onwards, unTouchable was serialized in NAVER Webtoon. In July of the same year, the Chinese and English translated version of unTouchable was serialized in LINE Webtoon.

In February 2015, massstar attended the Taipei International Comics and Animation Festival with another webtoon artist Oh Seong-dae. Both of them hosted autograph sessions in the booth of LINE Webtoon.[1][2][3]
