Masha Rasputina (Маша Распутина, born Alla Ageeva, May 13, 1965, Urop, Belovsky District, Kemerovo Oblast, Russia[1]) is a Russian pop singer, known for her over-the-top, husky vocal style, fiery stage persona and flamboyant, somewhat controversial image with the emphasis on grotesque sexuality and crude, ‘common girl’ manners.
Since 1989 when she won Pyongyang-89 Pop & Rock Festival first prize and scored her first Russian hit Играй, музыкант ("Play, Musician, Play"), Masha Rasputina has released eight studio albums and a series of highly successful singles and videos, including Roza Tchaynaya (2003), a duet with Philipp Kirkorov.
