Marymede railway station is an under-construction station on the South Morang line; a suburban railway line in Victoria, Australia. The station will serve the north-eastern Melbourne suburb of South Morang. It is scheduled to open in early 2019.[1]
History
The station was first announced as one of two new stations as a part of Mernda Rail, and extension of the South Morang line. Hawkstowe station was added to the plan after community pressure, and will be the station following Marymede.[2]
