The University of Maryland Eastern Shore Hawks (commonly UMES) refer to the 15 sports teams representing University of Maryland Eastern Shore in Princess Anne, Maryland in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, and tennis; women's sports include bowling, softball, and volleyball; men's sports include baseball and golf. The Hawks compete in the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) and are members of the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC) [2] and Eastern College Athletic Conference.[3]
The Hawks compete in the MEAC for most sports and in the ECAC for volleyball, track and field, bowling and baseball.
