"Martin Eden" is a song written by American singer-songwriter Billie Hughes with Italian composers Ruggero Cini and Dario Farina. It was written from the composers theme from the 1979 TV mini-series Martin Eden, based on the Jack London novel of the same name, directed by Giacomo Battiato.
The song was recorded by Hughes and released as a single in Europe where it topped the Billboard charts in several territories, such as Sweden where it reached number 2. It was covered in Polish by the band Smugglers in 2009.
