Martin Aitken
Martin Jim "M. J." Aitken FRS (11 March 1922[1] – 15 June 2017) was a British archaeometrist.[2][3]
Aitken organised annual meetings which became the "Symposium on Archaeometry and Archaeological Prospection".[4] He retired in 1989[5] and died in June 2017 at the age of 95.[6]
