Marta Kwiatkowska

Marta Zofia Kwiatkowska is a Polish computer scientist based in the United Kingdom. She is Professor of Computing Systems at the Oxford University Department of Computer Science, University of Oxford, England.

Marta Kwiatkowska held academic posts at Jagiellonian University, Kraków, Poland, the University of Leicester, England, and the University of Birmingham, where she became a Professor of Computer Science.[1] Since 2007, she has been a Fellow of Trinity College, Oxford.[1]

Kwiatkowska's research is in the area of modelling and formal verification of complex systems, especially using automated verification through model checking.[1] She has been involved in the development of the PRISM model checker. Kwiatkowska has published widely in academic journals and conferences.[2][3] In 2017 she became a Fellow of the Association for Computing Machinery.[4]
