Markowizna [markɔˈvizna] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Ogrodzieniec, within Zawiercie County, Silesian Voivodeship, in southern Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-west of Ogrodzieniec, 5 km (3 mi) south-east of Zawiercie, and 41 km (25 mi) north-east of the regional capital Katowice.
