John Mark Holtom (born 6 February 1958 in Burton-on-Trent) is a retired English athlete who specialised in the sprint hurdles.[3] He competed in the event at two consecutive Olympic Games, in 1980 and 1984, as well as the 1983 World Championships. In addition, he won a silver medal at the 1982 Commonwealth Games. At the end of his career he moved up to 400 metres hurdles.
