Mark Evitts is a Nashville, Tennessee-based composer, string arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist (including violin, viola, mandolin, guitar and piano). Evitts has worked with such artists as David Guetta, Cheat Codes (DJs), Train,[1] Blues Traveler, Jewel, Rodney Atkins,[2] Secondhand Serenade, Katharine McPhee, Bo Bice, Jimmy Wayne, Jaida Dreyer,[3] YouTube sensation Jessica Frech, We The Kings,[4] among many others. Evitts also created a string arrangement and recorded strings for Joey + Rory's GRAMMY winning, RIAA certified Gold selling album, "Hymns",[5] as well as producers Sam Hollander and Josh Edmondson on ten episodes of NBC's SMASH, including the Emmy nominated original song,[6] "I Heard Your Voice In A Dream", and on 2015's Summer Forever soundtrack, distributed by Disney Music Group.

Mark is a member of the Los Angeles-based Society of Composers & Lyricists. He has been an arranger, musician and music producer on several hit television shows, including The Bachelor, Nashville, Blood & Oil, the BBC documentary, "Love In A Day",[7] Discovering Lucy Angel, SVT's award winner documentary series Jills veranda, as well as films such as Changeover and Summer Forever.

Early career

A Kentucky-native,[8] Evitts began his classical music training at age twelve with the Concertmaster of the Paducah Symphony Orchestra and attended Mark O'Connor's Fiddle Camp (among others) throughout his teens. In 2006, Evitts began touring with the band Scarlet Kings (previously Oval Opus) until 2009. In 2010, Evitts ventured into film as the musical director and producer for the documentary Newport.[9]
