Maria Pantazi

Maria Pantazi (Greek: Μαρία Πανταζή) was a Greek anarchist and partner of Emanouil Dadaoglou.

She met Dadaoglou in the 1860s when the latter was living in Naples, Italy, and where she was working as a sex worker. They moved in together. After the death of Dadaoglou, she moved to Paris. There she became a member of an "armed" anarchist group, taking an active part in the Paris Commune. After the defeat of the Commune, she was arrested and executed by the Versaillers.

Maria Pantazi was, probably, the first Greek woman who actively took part in the anarchist movement but there are no further clues for her life and actions.
