Marburg is a town in Ugu District Municipality in the KwaZulu-Natal province of South Africa.

Settlement near Port Shepstone, established in 1882 by Norwegian immigrants. Probably named after Marburg, a city 74 km north of Frankfurt in Germany.[2]
