Marana Unified School District

Marana Unified School District (MUSD) is an Arizona school district comprising 17 schools in Pima County, Arizona. It has its headquarters in Marana.[1]

As of September 2004, MUSD had over 13,000 students and 1700 employees. Founded in the early 1920s, MUSD's boundaries include 550 square miles (1,400 km2) of land.

The Marana Unified School District has a total of 17 schools, 12 elementary schools, 2 middle schools, and 3 high schools.

Elementary schools

MUSD has 12 elementary schools, Twin Peaks Elementary (Marana), Butterfield Elementary (Casas Adobes Community Advocate, Casas Adobes), Coyote Trail Elementary (Marana), DeGrazia Elementary (Cortaro), Desert Winds Elementary (Picture Rocks), Marjorie W. Estes Elementary (Marana), Ironwood Elementary (Casas Adobes Community Advocate, Casas Adobes), Picture Rocks Intermediate (Picture Rocks), Quail Run Elementary (Casas Adobes Community Advocate, Cortaro), Rattlesnake Ridge Elementary (Marana), Roadrunner Elementary (Avra Valley), and Thornydale Elementary (Casas Adobes Community Advocate, Casas Adobes).

Middle schools

MUSD has two middle schools, Marana Middle (Marana) and Tortolita Middle (Cortaro).

High schools

MUSD has three high schools, Mountain View High School (Cortaro), Marana High School (Marana), and MCAT High School (Marana).
