Mandar Cholkar started as a lyricist in 2009, he debuted with an album by Yogita Chitale titled 'Life is Beautiful' which was composed by Nilesh Moharir and Mandar has done more than 70 films including Shyamache Vadeel, Duniyadari, Classmates, Mitwaa, Online Binline, Shortcut, Guru, Friends, Marathi Tigers, Daagdi Chaawl, Porbazaar, Katyar Kaljat Ghusali, Bandh Nylonche, Phuntroo, Pindadan, Vrundavan, Ek Albela, Taleem, Kanha, Photocopy and One Way Ticket. He also wrote one song for Bollywood film Rustom. Mandar has also dedicated his work for music albums and advertisements.[1][2][3][4][5]
