Plot
Gopalam (Akkineni Nageswara Rao) is the son of a poor farmer Seetanna (Gummadi) forced to work as a servant for a Zamindar Bangaraiah (Dhulipala). Gopalam always gives a tough fight to Zamindar and his son Raja (Krishnam Raju). During the village elections, Gopalam decides to take a stand by running against the wealthy tyrant -- and impress his beautiful daughter Geetha (Kanchana) in the process.
