Mallekan is a village in Ellenabad (sub-division) of Sirsa district, Haryana.[1] The village is about 21.1 kilometres (13.1 mi) from the sub-division Ellenabad and 19.4 kilometres (12.1 mi) from the divisional district headquarters Sirsa. Although the village is located in the inferior part of Haryana (232 kilometres (144 mi) from the state capital Chandigarh), it is one of the most rapidly developing villages in the state.

Geography and civil affairs

Mallekan is located between Umedpura (3.3 kilometres (2.1 mi)) at the east, Mehna Khera (4.9 kilometres (3.0 mi)) at the west, Kuttabadh (6.9 kilometres (4.3 mi) at the north and Madhosinghana (5 kilometres (3.1 mi)) at the south.

Road communication has been rapidly developed since 1970. Commercial vehicles has been introduced by the state government to connect the village with other nearby cities. The economy of the village mostly depends on agriculture. Two government hospitals has also been introduced for the village people with low cost hospitalization.Rania , Sirsa , Ellenabad , Nohar are the nearby Cities to Mallekan.

This Place is in the border of the Sirsa District and Hanumangarh District. Hanumangarh District Tibbi is west towards this place . It is near to the Rajasthan State Border. Mallekan is largest village of sirsa district. It is developed village.
