Malkat Ed-Dar Mohamed
Malkat Ed-Dar Mohamed Abdullah (1920–1969) was a Sudanese novelist, composer, and poet. She was born in El-Obaid, Sudan. Her novel, The Wide Hollowness, was the first to depict the life and difficulties of the working woman in Sudanese society. However, this novel has also been criticized for idealizing the Sudanese countryside.[1]
