Malenice is a village and municipality (obec) in Strakonice District in the South Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 9.85 square kilometres (3.80 sq mi), and has a population of 651 (as at 3 July 2006).
Malenice lies on the Volyňka river, approximately 16 kilometres (10 mi) south of Strakonice, 47 km (29 mi) west of České Budějovice, and 114 km (71 mi) south of Prague.[1]
