Ioakeim "Makis" Chavos (Greek: Μάκης Χάβος; born 5 September 1969 in Nea Madytos is a Greek football manager and former football player. He is currently the manager of Panetolikos in the Greek Superleague. Chavos is mostly remembered for his 4.5-year spell in PAOK. In the later stages of his career he played in several clubs in the lower divisions. As a manager, he has coached several clubs in Greece and Cyprus.

Playing career

After playing amateur in Achilleas Triandrias, Chavos transferred to Olympiakos F.C. in 1987. After, three games he released from the club and he joined to Apollon Kalamarias. Chavos spent 4,5 at PAOK F.C., during he has the only cap with the Greece in 1992

Coaching career

Chavos started his managerial career in 2009 for Agrotikos Asteras.[1] His biggest succeed during his managreial career was in December 2010 with PAOK when qualified in Round 32 of UEFA Europa League, after an away victory against Dinamo Zagreb.[2]
