Mahindra Marksman is India’s first armoured capsule-based light bulletproof vehicle to provide protection to the personnel of defence, paramilitary and police forces against small arms fire and grenade attacks. It has capability to be used in counter terrorist as well as conventional roles.[1]

History

The Marksman was first sold to Mumbai Police's Force One.[2][3]

After Mahindra sold several Marksman vehicles to Chile, Carabinier officials have expressed concerns about its flaws like bad visibility and its questionable performance off-road.[4]
