Maharashtra National Law University Mumbai (MNLU Mumbai) is a National Law University located at Hiranandani Gardens, Powai, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It is the 18th National Law University established in India by The Maharashtra National Law University Act 2014, passed by Maharashtra Legislature under the Maharashtra Act No VI of 2014.

Academics

Undergraduate

MNLU Mumbai offers a five year integrated B.A.,LL.B.(Hons.) Course. At present there are 62 seats for undergraduate program out of which 25 seats are for All India Unreserved, 25 seats are reserved for Maharashtra reserved category students, 10 supernumerary seats are for NRI/NRI Sponsored/ Foreign National applicants and two seats are reserved for J&K Permanent Residents. The first undergraduate batch will graduate in 2020[1].The admissions at present are conducted strictly by Common Law Admission Test.

Postgraduate

MNLU Mumbai earlier offered a one-year postgraduate LL.M. in Law Pedagogy & Research program to ten students. From 2017-18 session it offered One Year LL.M. program in Corporate and Commercial Laws. At present there are 20 seats for LL.M. programme.

Infrastructure

MNLU Mumbai has shifted to the premium premises CETTM-MTNL Powai from 2017-18 session. Earlier it shared its campus with Tata Institute of Social Sciences,Mumbai. The university also has hostel facility for its students.
