Mahali

Mahali is an indigenous community of India, Nepal and Bangladesh. Mahali people are indigenous in the state of West Bengal and Odisha.[1] They mostly reside in areas adjoining to Santhal Parganas in Odisha and West Bengal. Mahali people form a different tribe which is clubbed together with the Munda tribe.[1] They basically speak Mahali language, but in some place they differentiate Mahali language from Mahali. [2]
