The hybrid elm cultivar Ulmus × hollandica 'Macrophylla Aurea' was listed by Bean in Kew Hand-List Trees & Shrubs, ed. 3, 273, 1925 as U . Montana (: glabra) var. macrophylla aurea, but without description.[1]
