Mac Schneider is a North Dakota Democratic-NPL Party member of the North Dakota Senate, representing the 42nd district from 2009-2016 where he served as the Senate Minority Leader. In 2016, Schneider lost his re-election bid the North Dakota Senate. Schneider comes from a political family; his father Mark was the Democratic-NPL Party chairman in 2009, and he campaigned for other Democratic state Senators as a child.[1][2]
