Maa Telugu Talliki (Telugu: మా తెలుగు తల్లికి; IAST: Mā telugu talliki; "To my Mother of Telugu") is the official song of the State of Andhra Pradesh, one of twenty-nine States of the Republic of India. It was written by Sri Sankarambadi Sundaraachari and sung by Tanguturi Suryakumari[1] for the Telugu film Deena Bandhu (1942) which starred Chittor V. Nagaiah but was released as a private label by the artist. The song gained popularity and is sung at the start of social functions in Andhra Pradesh. It was ultimately recognized as the official song of the State.[2]
