Ma Qiang (simplified Chinese: 马强; traditional Chinese: 馬強; pinyin: Mā Qiáng; born July 1953) is a Chinese diplomat and currently the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan.[1][2]

Life and career

Ma was born in July 1953. He graduated from Beijing Language and Culture University in 1982.[1]

In July 2013, Chinese president Xi Jinping appointed he the Chinese Ambassador to South Sudan, succeeding Li Zhiguo.[1][3]
