MES International School, Pattambi is an English medium private higher secondary school in Pattambi, Kerala, India. It is a CBSE-affiliated school that is run by the Muslim Educational Society.[1][2] The school is located on a 4-acre (16,000 m2) site. The principal of the school is Asha Byju.[3] It is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution. It is the first school in India to introduce Live Embedded Educational Tablets. The First school in Kerala with the fully digitalized SMART Classrooms (Montessori to Class XII). It has Playschool and classes from Montessori to Class Twelfth. In the Pre-primary & Primary level, Montessori Method of education is followed in the school. MES brought this method in Kerala with the help of Modern Montessori International, London. Hundreds of teachers got training from MMI and 20 plus CBSE schools is presently running this methodology successfully.

For the complete utilization of this method, MES International School, Pattambi has a beautiful; Eco-friendly Laurie Baker’s architectural style Montessori Block - ‘The House of Children’. It is one of the BEST environments in the country. It is affiliated to Modern Montessori International, London & the method of education is perhaps, the most widely accepted system of child education for age group of 3 to 9 years of children.

M.E.S International School, Pattambi was established in 1978. The school is sponsored by the Muslim Educational Society (Regd.) Calicut and is managed by its local unit. The school is situated on a 6-acre (24,000 m2) plot in a quiet and serene atmosphere, about 400 metres west of Pattambi Railway Station and the bus station.

The 17th Kerala CBSE Arts and Cultural Fest 2011–2012 conducted by the Kerala State CBSE School Managements Association was organized at M.E.S International School, Pattambi on 10, 11, 12 and 13 November 2011. The 36th Annual Day of the school was inaugurated by the famous cine actor Mr. Mukesh on February 1, 2014.

From the academic year 2014–15, MES International School completely replaced textbooks with tablets from standard IV to XII. "This has improved the teaching-learning process as everything can be visually explained," principal Asha Byju said.[5]
