M. J. Kang

M.J. Kang is a playwright and actress. Born in Seoul, South Korea, she later immigrated to Toronto, Canada.

Her plays include Noran Bang: The Yellow Room (Dora Award nomination for Outstanding New Play 1998), Blessings and dreams of blonde & blue.

Kang performed in the Off-Broadway hit, Private Jokes, Public Places in New York, Los Angeles, London, and Toronto. She reprised the role, which was written for her and is semi-biographical, at The Aurora Theatre in Berkeley, California, April 6–May 13, 2007.[1]

She is married to Oren Safdie.
