Luke Spencer (born November 28, 1990) is an American professional soccer player who plays for Louisville City in the United Soccer League.

Career

Early career

Spencer played four years of college soccer at Xavier University between 2009 and 2012.[1] While at college, Spencer played for Premier Development League side Cincinnati Kings during their 2012 season.[2]

Professional

On January 17, 2013, Spencer was selected 23rd overall in the 2013 MLS SuperDraft by New England Revolution.[3] However, he tore his ACL during his first week with the club and subsequently was not signed by New England.[4]

After a stint as a coach at Xavier University, Spencer was signed by new United Soccer League club FC Cincinnati on February 15, 2016.[5] He joined USL side Louisville City on February 9, 2017.[6]
