Luke Snyder (bull rider)

Luke Snyder (born October 6, 1982) is an American former professional bull rider on the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) on the elite Built Ford Tough Series (BFTS) tour. Since emerging onto the PBR scene as an 18-year-old Rookie of the Year and PBR World Finals Champion in 2001, he has never looked back. The reigning Ironman of bull riding competed in a record 275 consecutive major PBR events, which stands to this day.

Snyder is 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) tall and weighs 155 pounds (70 kg). He is from Raymore, Missouri and of Dutch descent on his father's side. His career PBR earnings are just over $1.7 million. His special interests include team roping, snowboarding and surfing.

He was featured as part of a 5-man team for Ford Truck's Built Ford Tough Invasion. In 2013, after competing professionally in the PBR for 13 years, Snyder officially retired from bull riding after the PBR World Finals and three PBR Australia events. He was inducted into the Professional Bull Riders Heroes & Legends Celebration: Ring of Honor[1] in 2015.
