Lukas Walton (born 1986) is an American billionaire heir. He is the grandson of Sam Walton, the founder of Wal-Mart.
Early life
Lukas Walton is the only child of John T. Walton (1946–2005) and his wife Christy Walton. He grew up in National City, California, and Jackson Hole, Wyoming.[2]
He has a bachelor's degree in environmentally sustainable business from Colorado College, where he graduated in 2010.[2][3]
Career
Walton has worked for the Walton Family Foundation, and True North Venture Partners.[3]
Wealth
On 6 November 2015, it was discovered that his mother was worth about $27 billion less than had been thought, and that Lukas Walton was worth between $11–25 billion.[3]
According to Bloomberg, as of November 2015, Lukas is worth at least $11 billion, and up to $25 billion if "certain trusts are included".[3]
