Lucknow–Gorakhpur line

This line is a B class line according to indian railway standards and trains can reach up to 130 kmph on this line. The line is broad gauge, double and electrified. This is the first fully electrified railway line of northeastern railway. Major railway stations on this line are barabanki, gonda, basti, khalilabad and mankapur. It is one of the busiest railway lines of eastern and central uttar pradesh. This line connects assam, west bengal, north bihar and eastern uttar pradesh to delhi, haryana, punjab, jammu kashmir and uttarakhand. Trains for mumbai, south india, rajasthan and gujarat are also connected to this line. Regular trains running on this line are amrapali express, vaishali express, bihar sampark kranti, bagh express, awadh assam express, barauni lucknow express, barauni gwalior express, krishak express, awadh express, kushinagar express, sant kabir dham express, gorakhdham express and saptakranti express
