Lov Grover

Lov Kumar Grover (born 1961) is an Indian-American computer scientist. He is the originator of the Grover database search algorithm used in quantum computing.[1]

He received his Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi in 1981 and his Phd in Electrical engineering from Stanford University. He then went to Bell Laboratories, where he worked for an assistant professor at Cornell University from 1987 to 1995.
