The SJFA restructured prior to the 2006–07 season, and United found themselves in the 15-team East Region, South Division. They finished 15th (bottom) in their first season in the division.

The team is managed by Bobby Thomson, who assumed the role after previous manager Graeme Crawford stepped down due to work commitments in December 2015, Bobby brought in his own backroom staff with appointing David Miller as his number 2, also Mark Kelly as first team coach

David Miller was with his previous club Dieselink United, he who had a great year with the club, unbeaten in all league games, got to two finals winning one of them and also getting to the last 16 of the Scottish Cup.[1]
