List of birds of Guadeloupe

This is a list of the bird species recorded in Guadeloupe. Guadeloupe is an overseas department of France located in the Leeward Islands, part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean.

This list's taxonomic treatment (designation and sequence of orders, families and species) and nomenclature (common and scientific names) follow the conventions of The Clements Checklist of Birds of the World, 2016 version.[1]

Unless noted otherwise, the list is that of Bird Checklists of the World as of August 2015.[2] The following tags have been used to highlight several categories. The tags and notes on population status are also from Lepage.

This list contains 277 species, of which one is endemic, 144 are rare or accidental, 10 have been introduced, and two have been extirpated.
