Nickelback spent 55 weeks at number one on the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart in the 2000s, more than any other artist.

The UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart is a weekly record chart based on rock and heavy metal single and song sales, downloads and streams from Friday to Thursday in the United Kingdom.[1] Compiled by the Official Charts Company, the chart began tracking for the week ending 15 October 1994. During the 2000s, a total of 185 singles reached number one. The first number-one track on the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart in the 2000s was "Higher" by American post-grunge band Creed. The final number-one of the 2000s was Rage Against the Machine's "Killing in the Name", which became 2009 Christmas number-one following an online campaign.

The most successful artist in the 2000s on the UK Rock & Metal Singles Chart was Canadian group Nickelback, who topped the chart for 55 weeks with ten different singles. The band's 2006 single "Rockstar" spent more weeks atop the chart in the 2000s than any other release, with 24 weeks across three spells in 2007 and 2008. It was the best-selling rock single of 2008.[2] Kid Rock's "All Summer Long" was the second most successful song, spending 18 weeks at number one. Roadrunner Records was the most successful label of the decade on the chart with 65 weeks at number one, with Reprise Records behind with 56 weeks at number one.
