This is the episode list of Mr. Bean, a British animated television series based on the 1990 TV series of the same name. Characters include Mr. Bean, Irma Gobb and the driver of the Reliant Supervan, with the addition of Mrs. Wicket, Bean's landlady, and her cat Scrapper. In February 2001, the series was officially announced, with it premièring shortly afterwards.[1]
In January 2014, due to the success of the original animated series, ITV announced that another 52 episodes would be made for airing from February 2015 on awards.[2] The new episodes started airing on CITV from 16 February 2015. Up to the end of Season 4, a total of 104 episodes will have been made.

Series 1 (2002)
Season 1 had a total of 18 episodes, and began broadcasting in January 2002. It had a regular Saturday night prime-time slot on ITV1. However, the final two episodes were delayed for several weeks due to schedule changes.

It's spring cleaning time and Mr. Bean's room is a mess so he cleans everything. After this, he takes a bath but after he gets out of the tub, he slips on the soap and slams into the vacuum, causing it to explode and his room becomes a mess again. He tries to bathe again except there's no hot water. He tries stealing some from a girl neighbour but the green shampoo causes him to become covered in green. He tries again and tries to escape, but he falls in the mud and becomes dirty again. Bean tries to take a bath in Mrs. Wicket's bath tub, but he puts too much soap wash in the machine causing it to explode and fill the house with water bubbles. | ||||||

It's Teddy's birthday! Irma Gobb, Mr. Bean's girlfriend, has remembered but Bean has not. Bean decides to invite his girlfriend to Teddy's party. In the toy store to buy a birthday gift for Teddy, he accidentally hits the store owner that is meant for robot, who approaches him. Bean instead buys a balloon. At night, however, Irma becomes unhappy thanks to Bean's unfair play. When it's 9pm, Bean shows Irma the fireworks display and she feels better. | ||||||

Mr. Bean tries to relax, but with roadworks outside he finds this too difficult. After a few failed attempts, he has an idea to delay the workers so that he can relax but fails to notice steam from a cracked pipe. Then, when Bean lights the candle with a match even though the workers told him not to, the pipe explodes. Mr. Bean ends up in the hospital. | ||||||

Mr. Bean tries to watch his TV shows with Teddy, but as he tries to find the remote a spring comes out of his sofa. More springs subsequently come out. He decides to buy a new sofa, but cannot afford the cost of £300. He decides to have a yard sale, but all his stuff is removed while he is rescuing Teddy. Eventually he sells a stamp for £300 to a passerby and then buys the sofa. Bean then realises that his TV remote is still inside the old sofa, and goes back to the antique shop where he abandoned it. The shop has patched up the sofa and sold it on (to the driver of the Reliant). As Bean chases the driver to retrieve the remote control, it is revealed that the shop owner has removed the remote from the sofa, and sells it for £20. | ||||||

Mr. Bean goes on a treasure hunt after finding a map in Mrs. Wicket's attic. The second place is in the owl's tree in the garden, and the third place is in the park resembling Australia (when looking above the sky). Mr. Bean hunts for a new home, as Mrs. Wicket has thrown him out. He tries out some lodgings he sees advertised in the paper but the series of attempts failed: First, Bean is appalled when the landlady serves him exotic food that turns out to be crocodile. The next apartment forbids Teddy inside. Then a man gives him a bed-space alongside the home of pigs and chickens. Lastly is the burglars' fake house. Bean tries to camp out until a downpour interrupts his sleep. Then, when Bean sees his room for rent, he decides to disguise himself to get back in. When Mrs. Wicket sleepwalks to his room, he carries her back into the room. However, as she awakes, she panics and Bean shows himself, pretends that he attacks the man and throws him out of the window. Mrs. Wicket, thinking that Bean has "subdued" him, welcomes him back. | ||||||

Mr. Bean presumes that Scrapper had been crushed to death in the garbage truck by the collector. When there are no cats that look like him, Mr. Bean goes to a S.O.S. cat house and sees a cat that looks like Scrapper. He lets the cats out as a distraction for the owner, steals her cat then makes him look like Scrapper. Unfortunately, when Mrs. Wicket is shocked to see the fake cat, she throws Mr. Bean out and sees Scrapper alive. Mr. Bean returns the owner's cat but gets caught and does all the wall paper decorating until a cat hits the ladder and Mr. Bean falls down. Goof: There is a mistake in the episode where Mrs. Wicket gets her skin irritated without apparently touching the fake cat but Mr Bean does not. | ||||||

Bean wants to buy a box of POP cereal, but is ordered by Mrs. Wicket to buy a dozen grocery items. While Mr. Bean is shopping, the shopping cart he uses breaks, causing the store manager (voiced by Kevin Doyle) to stalk him. He decides to build himself a mechanical trolley to complete his errands, only to accidentally buy dog food instead of cat food for Mrs. Wicket, angering her. | ||||||

Mr. Bean takes into his home an injured magpie, and soon notices that it likes to collect lovely shiny things, taken from neighbours' houses. When Mrs. Wicket and the policeman see this, Mr. Bean is arrested by mistake due to grand theft. Then when the policeman returns from his cab having a parking fine, he thinks Mr. Bean has escaped, but he is hiding behind the open door and shows the policeman the small culprit and he is released. When he returns to his room and finds the Queen's crown stolen by the magpie, Mr. Bean is shocked to see this and faints. | ||||||

Mr. Bean's newly purchased ship-in-a-bottle gets inadvertently picked up by the milkman. Bean has to get his ship bottle back and succeeds. Then he hangs his bottle near the door but it wakes up Mrs. Wicket and when she slams the door, Bean's bottle breaks. Finally, he becomes happy when he puts the broken ship pieces to his fish. |
Series 2 (2003)
Season 2 also had a total of 16 episodes, and was broadcast in early 2003. It was the last series to be given a prime-time Saturday slot.

The next day, Bean takes him to the beach until he gets dragged when a swordfish eats the goldfish and avoids being eaten by a shark. He tries to get a mug; however, the Queen's dog steals Teddy and so Bean tries to get him back. Then, when he peeps through the eye holes of the Queen's dog portrait, Bean manages to bring the missing dog back to the Queen and is rewarded with a royal mug. | ||||||

He tries to cook the spaghetti, but takes a long time to do so, only for it to be lost down the sink when he is shocked by a bird crashing into the window. He decides to make the bird their dinner – but it's too small, so he inflates it to look like a turkey. When this doesn't work, Bean and Irma decide to try to catch and eat the mouse. | ||||||

A tennis ball gets lodged in a drain pipe on a rooftop. After several attempts to dislodge it fail, a concerned neighbour calls the emergency workers when she misjudges Mr. Bean thinking that he's jumping off the building. He managed to get the ball by bouncing on a trampoline. Later, when the father tells Bean to get the ball, he throws an egg by mistake and end up getting chased by the enraged father. | ||||||

Mr. Bean bites down on a piece of popcorn, causing him much pain. He thinks that pulling out his painful tooth will resolve his problems. He tries to put his tooth back but it sticks by the glue, so instead he use the toy triceratops' horn as a tooth. Then, Bean goes to a dentist to have the tooth removed and repaired. However, when Bean tries to fix the misplaced toy horn, its toy horn accidentally struck his tooth. | ||||||

Mr. Bean saves a kitten from a tree. The press and the kitten's owner arrive at his door for a photograph but Bean's hair is messy so he decides to have a haircut. The barber is too slow so he decides to cut his hair on his own but he makes it a bold cut which causes Ms. Wicket to laugh and Bean is humiliated. He tries to hide his hair until he sees the photographer's fake hair then paints it black. As Bean and the owner are about to take a picture, a gust of wind blows the fake hair and Mr. Bean puts the cat on his head. The barber loves it and uses Mr. Bean's cat hair for the customers. | ||||||

Then, when he tries to finish Bean off, the lobster attacks and being pursued by it and the cameras. Later, Mr. Bean and the actress exit the restaurant and the actress kisses him. | ||||||

But by the time the photo is revealed, he saw the portrait gone and mistakenly thinks that the thief has stolen it and goes on a goose chase. But it turns out that the artist was the one who takes the portrait to clean it and Bean managed to capture the art thief. When his car stops working, he tries to fix it only to be interrupted by the female traffic warden. | ||||||

Mr. Bean goes to theatre to watch two horror movie: "Kat" and "The Glob". However, it scares him so he goes to a Mr. Tiny movie then falls asleep. When he arrives home, he tries to get in but realizes that he left his jacket at the theater with the key to his house. It becomes worse when Bean saw Scrapper as the giant cat and Mrs. Wicket as the glob monster. He tries to sneak into the movie but gets carried by the cashier revealed to be a giant hornet in the Mr. Tiny movie. So Mr. Bean and Tiny work together to survive and succeed. Then the duo climbs on the THE END sign but Bean falls down when he climbs on the N, so everything Bean sees is all a dream. | ||||||

Mr. Bean and Irma go on a date. The problem is, they have different notions of what makes a date. After they eat in a restaurant, Bean realizes that he left his wallet at home so he goes to get it, but the musician uses his own £20 to pay the bill and goes to have a romantic dance with Irma. When Mr. Bean sees Irma and the musician going to the car, he sees the blue Reliant coming out, mistakes it for a car that Irma is in and pursues it. Then when Irma and the musician are about to kiss, they are interrupted when the Reliant Supervan slams into the musician's car. Irma decides to go back to Mr. Bean's car, and Irma and Mr. Bean drive away laughing. | ||||||

A case of mistaken identity lands Bean in prison and the escaped convict pretends to be Mr. Bean! The real Bean ends up in prison and makes a teddy with dough while the impostor is forced by Mrs. Wicket to do Rockery except failed to realized that the "Bean" she saw was a fake. Then, when the impostor is fed up on this job, he runs away and goes back to his prison cell and explains to Bean that he was the one who escaped and pretends to be Bean. When he's out of the prison, he shouts "I'm free!" except it attracts the attention of the prison guards. |
Series 3 (2004)
Season 3 had a total of 18 episodes, and was broadcast in mid-2004. It was the only series to feature on CITV in a regular daytime slot, rather than a prime-time slot. However, once again, two episodes were shown long after the series should have finished.

Then, he decides to make him go to a restaurant and orders everything in the menu, and escapes from the bathroom when Harry's not looking. Then, when Harry fails to pay the bill, he is forced to wash the dishes as payment and Bean manages to get his teddy back. | ||||||

However, the big TV breaks again from the same fighting so Bean decides to have a puppet Andre singing while his Teddy swings the flashlight making Irma laugh. | ||||||

When Bean's record of Beethoven is broken, he decides to buy a new record until he sees a grand piano. He wants to play it but it's been sold to a short man until it becomes out of tune causing the man to cancel the order and Bean buys it. When he plays it, it's out of tune because Teddy is stuck to the piano strings but he can't get the hang of it even when he calls the piano instructor (the short man from earlier). The instructor gets an idea of recording Beethoven's symphony for Bean. | ||||||

So Bean convinces the judge that the marrow he's holding is his and wins the trophy dropping the marrow on the old lady. | ||||||

Mr. Bean wants to go camping, but his tent has fallen apart. He sets up a rivalry with a security guard. Bean steals the shed as his tent and gets revenge by luring his dog to the shed with his sandwiches and sends the guard's trailer on the lake with a inflatable raft. He goes back to the toy store only to be blocked by the guard but manages to fool him and retrieves the propeller. Bean then flies the plane, with Teddy riding as pilot, and manages to knock down the boy's plane. The boy's father then breaks Bean's remote, while the plane is still in flight, causing the plane to go out of sight. Bean believes he has lost Teddy forever, but then the plane explodes and Teddy is ejected and returns down his chimney. | ||||||

A new revived series started airing on CITV on 16 February 2015. It once again featured Rowan Atkinson providing his voice to the animated character of Mr. Bean. It has been announced that 52 episodes, each 11 minutes in length will be aired.[3]

Mr. Bean wants to buy a cupcake, but his wallet is empty, so he has to visit a cash dispenser. As he tries to use it, his card is declined and eventually swallowed by the machine. Bean steals a box of tools from a repairman's truck to unscrew the front of the machine in order to retrieve his card, thereby triggering the cash dispenser's alarm and alerting the police. Bean manages to hide inside the machine before the police officers find him. He then accidentally falls into the vault, finds his card and escapes just as the police officers raid the vault. Bean tries his card again after realising that his note of his PIN was upside down (he was reading it as 1861, but in fact it is 1981). Finally, Bean successfully withdraws the money and buys the cupcake. As Bean drives back home, the police officers mistakenly suspect and arrest the repairman. | ||||||

Censorship
When this show aired on Disney XD (Asia), some episodes were censored to be more suitable for younger viewers.
- In some episodes, such as "Roadworks" and "Nurse", any scenes where Mr. Bean's butt is shown were deleted.
- In the episode "Scaredy Bean", the scene where the monster villain called "The Glob" expels the human skeleton out of its mouth, and the part where Mr. Bean accidentally spits out the spoon on the man's head were cut, due to spitting, and the disturbing content of the former scene.
- In the episode "Bean Painting", the dream scene where the giant Mrs. Wicket vomited together with Mr. Bean's car parts was edited out in Cartoon Network and Boomerang.
- In the episode "Young Bean", the part where the two young robbers who were about to throw Scrapper (as a kitten) into the river before being stopped by Mr. Bean was cut on some UK Boomerang broadcasts.
