There is a Luston located at 930 Lindsay Lane in Florissant, Missouri that was a one owner until February of 2017. It is a Westchester II model with a rear addition from the early 60s. The bath has been altered with a tile stand-up shower, it is missing the original "Lustron zigzag" on the front porch and the Thor washbasin, but is otherwise 100% original. The current owner has no plans for alterations.

There are also 5 Lustron homes in the Kansas City area near 85th and Wornall Road. One of them was the display model and residence of the local sales representative. Local legend says that the salesman came home one day and told his wife that he no longer had a job because the company was bankrupt, but they still had their house.

In Kansas City there are at least 10 or more. This includes the Kansas suburb. IN south Kansas City there are at least 6 in a mile radius. Three together on one street.
