May 23, 1992 – According to Iranian IRIB television report, a passenger train and freight train head-on collided at Teheran-Ahvaz Line, outskirt of Dorud, Lorestan, Iran, killing 26 people and injuring 28.

21st Century

18 February 2004 Nishapur train disaster - 300+ killed
