Rural Municipality of Lipton No. 217
Lipton No. 217 (2006 Population 427) is a rural municipality in Saskatchewan, Canada encompassing 813.69 square kilometers in area. The rural municipality maintains its office in Lipton, Saskatchewan.[1] The rural municipality in conjunction with the provincial government is in charge of maintenance of highways in its area. As well, the municipality provides policing, fire protection and municipal governance for the rural district, with a reeve as its administrator.

Heritage Properties
There are three historical site located within the rural municipality:
- Hayward School – Constructed in 1904–1952, the site contains a one-room school house and barns.[4]
- Lipton Jewish Cemetery – Established in 1902, the cemetery is the resting place for early Jewish immigrants.[5]
- Tomecko House – Constructed in 1917–18, by Mr. Stevens, the house served as a gathering place for dances after harvest.[6]
