Lincoln East High School is a public secondary academic institution located in Lincoln, Nebraska, United States. It is part of the Lincoln Public Schools district. The current principal is Sue Cassata.
As of the 2014-15 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,589 students and 102.1 classroom teachers (on an FTE basis), for a student–teacher ratio of 15.6:1. There were 194 students (12.2% of enrollment) eligible for free lunch and 70 (4.4% of students) eligible for reduced-cost lunch.[1]
History
Lincoln East opened in 1967 as the fourth high school in the Lincoln Public Schools system.

Forensics
As of March 2016, the Lincoln East speech team has won fifteen consecutive state championships.[2]
