Limang Kanta Lang
Limang Kanta Lang (lit. Five Songs Only) is the 2006 debut extended play by Filipino rapper Gloc-9. The album was released independently and only five hundred copies were made and sold. As the title states, the album is composed of only five songs. The album title is also the title of its fifth track.
Background
Gloc-9 requested to the management of Star Records that he wanted to leave the label. The management agreed with the condition that he must also resign from the label's mother network as its musical researcher.[1] Both parties agreed, this left Gloc-9 jobless and having no record label.
Afraid of he will never be able to release an album in the future, he recorded a five-track independently released extended play in which he sold during hip hop events.
